HOW TO WASH YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS

HOW TO WASH YOUR HAIR EXTENSIONS

Clip in hair extensions are a cheaper, faster and healthier for your hair than getting the traditional glue-in extensions. They add length, volume and thickness to your hair in under minutes. Maintaining them isn't hard at all. (This manual is more for remy and human hair rather than synthetic).
Step 1- Comb your hair extensions with either a comb or a brush; make sure all knots and tangles are gone. Use a spacious wired comb.
Step 2- with warm water gently wet the extensions (it is better to tie the extensions with a scrunchie just below the grips this avoids tangling)

Step 3- put shampoo on them and gently wash it. Don’t be rough with them. Combing the shampoo through with your fingers should be fine. Use a shampoo with low or absolutely no sulphates.
Step 4 – rinse out the shampoo
Step 5- apply conditioner. Conditioner makes the extensions easier to comb once they are dry, softer and shinier.

Step 6- once you have rinsed out the conditioner and they have dried, comb through the extensions so that they are not tangled. You may blowdry the extensions instead of airdrying them. But first you MUST apply a heat protectant to prevent possible damage to the hair.

Step 7- you wont need to wash them every night or even every second night. After every 15 uses should be fine

step 8- once you have finished using them tie a scrunchie loosely around them and place them in you extensions bag, a big vanity bag is sufficient or even a big shoe box with a lid.
